Dear Site Guests: Great news on the content development for flyDiGiTs.com as I have created a new Leadership Series entitled: Kids Lead! This effort is to nurture philantrophy, volunteerism and caring spirits within today’s youth. Carrying on a series of conversations about today’s issues on a level that relates to kids lives here and now, events visible to them now and finding what truly matters to them in today’s bevy of social platforms. I aim to naturally adapt programs and activities to the site as they come my way. I am very much interested in supporting kids in developing their life-long passions. I find it really valuable to strive toward making your “passion your profession, your avocation your vocation”. (McGucken, Pepperdine University, 2007) My focus - site wide - is primarily a creative one, even in teaching creatively for differentiated learners. I recently expanding the content of the site to include all subject areas where career information and overall site content is concerned. Nonetheless, the unique delivery will continue to focus on the student in areas of educational, career and social development. So, creative or not, I will work to find solutions and informative resources that are of value to all kids, primarly ages 11-15, seeking more direction on their paths of life. Happy Shopping! |
